Anxiety and Phobias

Anxiety and
phobias can be helped!
Anxiety, panic and phobias have been the most common problems seen
by Enid in her work in over 20 years as therapist. They are also
the ones that can be treated most successfully. Enid has found
that almost everyone she has seen with these problems have been
helped - usually to a significant degree.
Anxiety problems can include a wide variety of disorders:

Hypnotherapy Suggestion Hypnotherapy sessions are undertaken
along with specific relaxation techniques to deal with problem
situations. Gradual desensitisation to the feared situation is
developed using relaxation and visualisation.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy The worrying and negative
thoughts are challenged and replaced with more positive,
realistic thoughts and beliefs about the situation
Analysis of the underlying causes can sometimes be
helpful to resolve the original trigger of the problem. This is
usually undertaken using hypnotherapy which leads to more rapid
and effective results.
