Confidence

Are you always putting off doing things until you ‘feel more confident’?

Do you feel shy and nervous in certain situations?

Do you hold lots of negative beliefs about yourself?

Does a shaky self-belief lead you to procrastination?

Are you uncomfortable dealing with conflict?

Do you hold back from moving forward in your life for fear of failure?

Low levels of confidence and self-esteem can affect our lives in many different ways, such as:

  • Shyness and social confidence

  • Blushing

  • Relationships - fear of rejection

  • Performance nerves

  • Public speaking

  • Presentations

  • Work underperformance

  • Concentration

  • Motivation

  • Examinations

  • Driving tests

  • Sports performance

Confidence means doing what you want to do and saying what you want to say without unnecessary worry, uncertainty or self-consciousness. It means you can do new things, make decisions, and trust your own judgement. It means being aware of your own abilities and having a healthy, realistic and positive opinion of yourself.

The focus of the therapy is to help you recognize the negative thought patterns that currently affect you. The goal is to replace these with more positive ones by focusing on the specific qualities, abilities and achievements which make you who you are, and to value these.

It is time to stop holding yourself back.

"During my sessions you have had an ability to understand what I was trying to explain which sometimes amazed me. I feel that I was very fortunate to choose yours from all of the names in the Yellow Pages." JW

"Thank you so much for your help. The effect on my life has been immeasurable. I look forward to my thirties with a degree of calmness and confidence that I always wanted but thought I would never achieve." JH
