Since she qualified as a therapist in 1987, Enid has maintained a professional therapy practice in Reading. She currently works at the Berkshire Independent Hospital near Coley Park in Reading.
She has also worked with various local organisations. She has led workshops and run therapy groups for the Well Woman Association of West Berkshire which is based in Reading.
Other aspects of her professional work have included lecturing on psychological topics for the Berkshire College of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Reading and Thames Valley University.
Some years ago she was involved in a clinical research trial looking at the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in helping to reduce the symptoms of various medical conditions at the Battle Hospital in Reading.
She is a member of several national professional organisations, but also maintains close links with other professional colleagues in the Reading area. She is a member and one time chair of Reading Therapies Group.
