Emotional Problems & trauma

Many people’s problems often manifest themselves in a
combination of emotional difficulties – anxiety, panic,
depression, anger, guilt, lack of confidence and insomnia
being some of the most common. People often feel ‘stuck’ in a
negative cycle of thoughts and feelings.
There are ways to break out of these problems and move forward
into a calmer, brighter, more positive future. Using a
combination of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy, Enid
finds that very often people’s lives can be transformed by the
therapeutic process. By gradually casting aside their
difficulties the real self can emerge once again and people
achieve a state of happiness and contentment greater than they
had dared hope for.
Often these problems have been caused by early traumatic
experiences such as abuse in childhood. The origins can
be explored, if appropriate, in a safe environment and people
can be helped to resolve old tensions and inner conflicts.
POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
In other cases the trauma is more recent, such as an accident or
natural disaster. This can trigger symptoms of Post Traumatic
Stress which can include:
